Store Settings
Control how your store looks, how customers contact you and how they order, all from one screen.
What it does
Store Settings holds every setting for your B2B Store: branding, contact details, legal links, ordering rules, fulfilment, stock messages, menu and social links, and checkout fields.
When to use it
Use it when your branding, contact details, opening times, minimum order or checkout wording change, or when you want to adjust the messages customers see while they shop.
Steps
- Open eCommerce → Store Settings to review your current settings.
- Select Edit.
- Work through the groups on the page and change the settings you need. Each group is described in Settings groups below.
- Select Save Changes.
While the page is saving, the button shows Saving.... When it finishes you return to the Store Settings page with your new values shown.
What you'll see
The Store Settings page lists every group as a card. Settings you have not filled in show a dash. Menu Links, Checkout Fields and Social Links show each row you have added, or No menu links configured., No checkout fields configured. and No social links configured. when they are empty.
Open your storefront to check the result. Branding, contact details, labels and checkout wording appear straight away; reload an open storefront page to pick up the change.
Clearing a field removes it from the storefront. Emptying Header Logo, Checkout Notice or About Page Content, or deleting a menu, checkout or social row, takes that content off your store as soon as you save. There is no undo, so keep a copy of longer text before you replace it.
If something goes wrong
- The form will not save: check the fields you changed. Email fields need a valid email address; Header Logo, App Icon, Default Product Image, Default Category Image, Registration Link, Privacy Policy URL and Terms & Conditions URL need a full web address, not a partial one; social link URL needs a full address starting with
http://orhttps://. A value that is too long for its field also blocks the save, such as a Contact Number over 30 characters. - Latitude and longitude are rejected: enter both Store Latitude and Store Longitude, or leave both blank. Latitude must be between -90 and 90, longitude between -180 and 180.
- A change is not on the storefront: reload the storefront page. If it is still missing, confirm you selected Save Changes and that the value is shown on the Store Settings page.
- Orders are placed but no order email arrives: check Order Email Address is set and correct. If it is, contact your onboarding manager.
- An import failed but no email arrived: check Support Email Address is set and correct, then see Email notifications - a run of failures is only emailed the first time.
- About or landing text saved but not on the store: confirm the value is shown on the Store Settings page, then contact your onboarding manager.
- One customer sees different delivery or collection slots: check that customer's own Delivery Times and Collection Times in Customers.
- Stock messages never appear: check Stock Indicators and the product's stock level. If no product shows a stock message anywhere, contact your onboarding manager.
- A setting described here is missing from the page: some settings are managed by ProConnect and are hidden from the form. See Settings managed by ProConnect.
- You see "No eCommerce store linked to this company.": your company has no store yet. Contact your onboarding manager.
- You see "Store not found.": contact your onboarding manager.
Settings groups
Branding
- App Icon Name - short name shown under the app icon, up to 50 characters.
- Store Name - full store name shown in the app header. Longer names wrap onto two lines in the compact header; names that still do not fit end with an ellipsis.
- Header Logo and App Icon - select Select media to choose an image from your media library, or Change and Remove on an image you have already chosen. See Media for uploading files.
- Default Product Image - shown in your store wherever a product has no image, or its image cannot load. Choose it the same way as Header Logo. Use a square image, ideally 1200x1200 pixels and saved as a PNG, with your logo centred on a white or transparent background and space around the edges. It is shown as small as a thumbnail in the basket, so avoid small text. Until you choose one, the field shows the standard image icon your store uses; select Remove to go back to it.
- Default Category Image - shown in your store wherever a category has no image, or its image cannot load, on both category tiles and category banners. Choose it the same way as Header Logo. Use a landscape 4:3 image, ideally 1200x900 pixels and saved as a PNG, with your logo centred on a transparent background. It is shown whole, never cropped, so on the wider category banners it sits in the middle with space either side. Until you choose one, the field shows the standard image icon your store uses; select Remove to go back to it.
Contact Information
- Order Email Name - the sender name on order emails.
- Order Email Address - the address that receives a copy of every order, and the address customer confirmations reply to. Leave it blank and your store stops sending order notifications.
- Support Email Address - the address customers use for help. It also receives the import failure emails; if it is blank, those go to Order Email Address instead.
- Contact Number - up to 30 characters.
- Registration Link - the web address customers use to request an account.
Email Settings
- Email Order Header Text - text shown at the top of order emails. Supports Markdown and HTML.
Legal
- Privacy Policy URL and Terms & Conditions URL - full links to your published policies. Customers open them from the store.
Store Customisations
- Minimum Order Value - a whole number in your store currency. Customers cannot check out below it.
- Prices Include VAT - turn on to show and charge your VAT-inclusive prices; leave it off to use prices excluding VAT.
- Promoted Label - wording on the first, orange promotion badge, up to 30 characters.
- Badge Label - wording on the second, teal promotion badge, up to 30 characters.
- Checkout Notice - message shown to customers at checkout. Supports Markdown and HTML.

- Landing Page Content - the text customers see on the store's sign-in screen, before they log in. Supports Markdown and HTML.
Fulfilment
- Fulfilment Type - choose Click & Collect, Delivery or Click & Collect and Delivery. This decides which options customers can pick at checkout.
- Delivery Offset (minutes) and Collection Offset (minutes) - the lead time before the first slot a customer can choose, entered in minutes. The Store Settings page shows them back to you in hours and minutes.
- Delivery Times and Collection Times - your opening hours for each fulfilment method, in opening-hours format, up to 500 characters. Select Create Fulfilment Times to open the helper, set your days and times there, then copy the generated text into the field.
Location
- Store Latitude and Store Longitude - your store's coordinates, used by location-based features. Enter both or leave both blank. They appear together as Store Location on the Store Settings page.
Your store's currency follows Currency, its language and number and date formats follow Locale, and its local time follows Timezone, all in Settings.
Stock Indicators
- Low Stock Indicator - None, Show Low Stock (an amber "Low Stock" message) or Show Actual Stock (an amber "Only 3 in stock").
- Low Stock Threshold - stock below this number counts as low.
- High Stock Indicator - None, Show In Stock (a green "In Stock") or Show Actual Stock (a green count).
- High Stock Threshold - when Show Actual Stock is chosen, stock above this number is shown as "500+ in stock" rather than the exact figure.
- Out of Stock Text - your own wording for products with no stock, such as "Sorry, temporarily out of stock. Please enquire." Leave blank for "Out of stock" on product lists and the basket, and "This item is currently out of stock" on the product page.
- Low Stock Text - your own wording in place of "Low Stock" when Show Low Stock is chosen.
- In Stock Text - your own wording in place of "In Stock" when Show In Stock is chosen.
Each text can be up to 100 characters and is shown everywhere that message appears, in every language. Shorter text reads best on product lists, particularly on phones. The Show Actual Stock counts cannot be reworded.
Products that cannot be bought always show an unavailable message, and products with no stock show an out-of-stock message, whatever you choose here. Low stock, unavailable and out-of-stock messages also appear in the basket; the green in-stock messages do not.
Menu Links
Extra links in the store menu, such as a brochure or a support page.
- Select Add Menu Link.
- Enter a Title and a full URL.
- Use the bin icon on a row to remove it.
Checkout Fields
Extra fields customers fill in when they place an order, such as a purchase order number.
- Select Add Checkout Field.
- Enter a Key to identify the field in your order records, a Label customers see, and an optional Placeholder as a hint inside the box.
- Tick Required if a customer must complete the field before they can submit an order.
- Use the bin icon on a row to remove it.
Keep each Key unique and leave it alone once orders have used it, so past and future orders stay comparable. If you remove every checkout field, customers get no notes box at all; if you want a single free-text notes box back, contact your onboarding manager.
Social Links
- Select Add Social Link.
- Choose a Platform - Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, Threads, TikTok, WhatsApp, X or YouTube.
- Enter a full URL starting with
http://orhttps://. Every row needs one, or the form will not save. - Use the bin icon on a row to remove it.
Links appear in the order you added them, and you can add more than one link to the same platform. A WhatsApp social link is separate from the store's WhatsApp contact option.
Product badges
Product badges highlight promotions as customers browse.
- Open eCommerce → Store Settings, then select Edit.
- Set Promoted Label for the orange badge and Badge Label for the teal badge, then select Save Changes.
- Open eCommerce → Products, select a product and choose Edit.
- Under Promotions, select Promotion, Special Offer, or both, then select Save Changes.
Customers see the same badge colours and wording in carousels, product lists and product details. The orange badge appears before the teal badge. If you leave the labels blank, customers see Promotion One and Promotion Two.
- A badge has the wrong wording: check Promoted Label and Badge Label.
- A product has no badge: check its Promotion and Special Offer selections in Products.
Settings managed by ProConnect
A few settings are set up for you and are not shown on the form: your store's Status, Sector, GA Tracking Code, Order Email BCC Address, and the connections to Erudus and to Stripe card payments. To change any of them, contact your onboarding manager.
