AI data security
Understand where ProConnect's AI features process data and the controls applied to AI requests.
Overview
Your stored ProConnect data stays in the UK. When you ask the Assistant to work with company data, only the content assembled into the prompt for that request is sent for AI inference.
This page describes the current data handling of ProConnect's AI features. It is general operational information, not a contractual guarantee or legal advice. Do not use the Assistant for data your organisation's policies prohibit from being processed by AI.
Text and reasoning
The Assistant's text and reasoning use Gemini on Google Vertex AI, with inference pinned to the EU.
Requests use zero data retention, so prompts and responses are not stored by the model provider. Prompt training is disabled, so that content is not used to train the provider's models.
Routing fails closed. If a request cannot be served through the configured EU route, it is rejected rather than silently sent to another region or provider.
WhatsApp auto-replies
The AI that drafts automatic replies to inbound WhatsApp messages runs separately from the Assistant. By default it uses the same EU route and controls described above. For customers whose agreements require UK processing, it instead runs on Claude via Amazon Bedrock in AWS's London region, so that processing stays in the UK with AWS as the processor. Amazon Bedrock does not store prompts or responses and does not use them to train models.
Image generation
Image generation is handled separately by GPT Image 2. It is not pinned to the EU and does not use the Assistant's zero-data-retention or no-prompt-training routing controls.
Do not include personal, commercially sensitive or confidential information in image prompts. This exception applies only to image generation; the text and reasoning controls above remain in place for the rest of the Assistant request.
What the Assistant can access
The Assistant can use data belonging to the company you are signed into, including information made available through its company-scoped tools. It does not use one company's data to answer questions for another company.
Your normal ProConnect access controls still apply. Only ask the Assistant to use information you are authorised to access and process.
AI management
b2b.store is certified to ISO/IEC 42001 for artificial intelligence management systems. This provides a management framework for AI risks, responsibilities, controls and continual improvement; it does not remove the need for human review.
The Assistant can make mistakes. Check important information before relying on or sharing its output.
