Overview
Your stored ProConnect data stays in the UK. ProConnect’s AI text features, including the Assistant and WhatsApp auto-replies, process information in the EU.
This page describes how our AI features handle data. It is general information, not a contractual guarantee or legal advice. Only use AI with information your organisation permits you to share.
EU inference and zero data retention
AI text inference takes place in the EU with zero data retention. The AI provider does not store your prompts or responses, and your content is not used to train its models.
These protections apply to both the Assistant’s text responses and automatic WhatsApp replies.
Assistant attachments are stored at an unlisted link in ProConnect's media storage and sent to the model under the same EU inference and zero data retention terms; the stored files are retained after the chat ends.
Web search
When the Assistant or flow builder searches the web or opens a page, the search query or page address leaves ProConnect to reach search engines and websites. Your conversation and company data are not sent with the search.
Avoid putting personal or confidential information in questions that need a web search.
Image generation
Image generation is handled separately. It is not restricted to the EU and does not use the text features’ zero data retention and no-training protections.
Do not include personal, commercially sensitive or confidential information in image prompts.
Dictation
Dictation sends microphone audio for transcription while you record. Audio is not used to train models, but dictation does not have the text features' EU processing or zero data retention protections. This applies in the Assistant, Media → Generate, flow editor and feedback form.
Access to your data
The Assistant only accesses data belonging to the company you are signed into. It does not use one company’s data to answer questions for another company.
Your normal ProConnect access controls still apply. Only ask the Assistant to use information you are authorised to access and process.

The Assistant can make mistakes. Check important information before relying on or sharing its output.
